Unspoken story of a village girl who can't speak a sentence in English confidently (Consultant, Ireland)

I have been brought up in a village where even your English teacher will speak in local language. When I moved on to my first job I found very difficult to speak in English and I started learning 5 words every day from English dictionary. I did read English newspapers and watched English movies and BBC news channels to understand their pronunciations. This helped me to land up on a job where I had to manage a Call centre and speak to native English speakers on the other side. I got a Pseudo name too “Dana Stephen” and none could identify that I am a village girl who struggled to speak English 😉. I did received feedback from many US clients that my English is too good.

When I can do why not you...?

Even Diamond needs polish to know its worth.
